About QuietScore

QuietScore exists because "whisper quiet" is not a number. Manufacturers publish certified sound measurements for thousands of products, but the data is scattered across spec sheets and government databases where nobody can compare it. We aggregate it, normalize it, rank it, and keep it current with an automated pipeline — every figure linked back to its official source.

QuietScore is independent: we are not affiliated with the EPA, ENERGY STAR, HVI, or any manufacturer, and no manufacturer can pay to change a ranking. Rankings are computed mechanically from certified lab data.

The site is supported by advertising and affiliate links (clearly marked — see the affiliate disclosure). Affiliate relationships never influence rankings, which are derived from certification data alone.
